On June 27, 2014 we had our second annual fundraiser for Families with children who are suffering form rare forms of Congenital Heart Disease. We were able to feed over forty families by giving away free hot dogs and drinks before the game; (money saver :-) Thanks to JoAnn Williams for the food, Thanks to Bobbie Alexander for being a great finisher, Thanks to Vision who sent KEHF a great rice crispy fundraiser idea and our great Rice Crispy chef Tinisha Williams who made awesome heart shaped treats that were given away for donations of any amount; we raised $142.17 at our information concourse table. Tinisha Williams for being a great hosted.
Jessica Songer Independent consultant for Origami Owl donated a beautiful locket with a beautiful ruby heart for the Seventh inning stretch drawing which was won by Carol Simicek of Huron Ohio Wow was she surprised!!!
Thank you to Adam Ousley, of Century Link Lorain Ohio for giving consideration to sponsor KEHF 2015, Freedom House Church love and support, Thank you to everyone who donated tickets that we could bless over 25 individuals to enjoy a great family night out at the game.
Always we thank you Lord for providing a means to help others and sending those to us to pray:
Jimmy Wallace age 25 Congenital Heart Failure, Bryant who has been diagnosed with Leukemia, Ryan age 7 who has ventricle collapse of the Mitral valve prolapse in which the valve that separates the upper and lower chambers of the left side of the heart does not close properly and to the mother who shared and spoke of her son having 4 OHS(open heart surgery) but we do not have her name. Lord we pray healing over these individuals because we trust that you are a healer and work miracles. Amen
Stay tune for future fundraising information for 2014 The recipient for the 2014 donation reward will be announced within the next 30 days after all proceeds are reconciled and will be posted on the Foundation website. Thank you for all that you do to advance the Kingdon.
